Kelson is an independent power producer engaged in the business of owning and operating electric generating facilities. Kelson sells electric energy and generating capacity at wholesale prices to customers including utilities and other entities that provide retail electric service and power marketers. Collectively Kelson currently owns or leases the following generating facilities, all of which are combined-cycle gas-fired facilities, and have an aggregate total generating capacity of 3,292 MW.
